Photographer Julian Broad has established a reputation as the ‘go to’ photographer for editorial and commercial assignments. His UK clients include, Vogue, GQ, Esquire, and the Telegraph Magazine. His first assignment for a major magazine in the UK was for GQ, shooting Georgio Armani. The portrait he delivered proved to be so successful that Mr Armani himself requested a copy for his personal press.

Long established in the UK editorial market, Julian has, in recent years, built upon his reputation within the US. Shooting for the likes of W, Details, Vanity Fair, Vogue, Teen Vogue, Travel and Leisure, D Magazine and GQ has allowed him to produce stunning portraits of many international celebrities working today.

Julian's approach to the portrait is always elegant, refined and glamorous. Often moody, but always beautiful. Shooting in a wide variety of formats, his elegant portraiture always grabs the attention. 

As well as portraiture, Julian is known for his landscapes and environmental work. The emotional resonance contained in these images has consistently found buyers in the commercial and fashion markets.

He also photographed the Gumball Rally for Vanity Fair magazine which, for Julian, was something of a busman’s holiday. A self confessed speed freak, Julian’s other obsession is dirt bikes. Julian lives in London and Wales and travels everywhere.
